SpinGems™ are specially formulated polymer chips used to mix in casting resins as well as CA glue. They are designed to mix in an approximate 50:50 blend with our Polyester or Epoxy casting resins, and used for filling inlays and voids. The chips are available in a variety of colors. The Mixed SpinGems™ are based on a single color with a mixture of particle sizes. Our Blended SpinGems™ contains a mixture of several colors and particle sizes to simulate natural stone. Any combination of mixtures can be made to customize your project. Since SpinGems™ are not formulated with stone, they can be cut with regular woodworking tools. For best results, we do recommend the use of carbide tools. SpinGems™ and the associated resins can be sanded and polished for a bright shine.
